5 HANDBUILDING TECHNIQUES – ALL LEVELS
Want to learn the basic techniques of clay shaping? This course is for you.
Over 6 weeks, you’ll learn the basics of pinched pot, coiling, kurinuki, slab building, and sculpture techniques. The final class is dedicated to decorating your pieces.
This course serves as a foundation for participants who want to continue their learning and take the intermediate course at Les Petits Pots Tremblant studio.
– Short nails, no bracelets or rings
– Bring indoor shoes
– Arrive at 1:30 PM if you’d like to grab a coffee before getting your hands dirty!
You’ll get to keep 10 pieces made during your course.
It’s possible for a piece to break during firing; the art of ceramics involves several complex steps with sometimes unpredictable results. If one of your pieces breaks, we do not offer a replacement.
Pieces will be ready for pickup 4 to 6 weeks after the final class — you’ll receive an email to that effect. Please note that we are unable to store pieces that are not picked up.
No refunds will be granted for classes, except in the case of cancellation on our part.
No make-up session is planned in the event of absence, as most of our classes are full.
